Yoga Retreat Itinerary

Day 1

ARRIVE FROM 3PM

Arrive and get yourself settled into your new lodgings. Have a restful cup of tea after your journey and start to leave everything from home behind you as you start to let your body relax and take in the beautiful surroundings of the Welsh countryside.

6PM RESTORATIVE YOGA SESSION

Get completely relaxed for your weekend with this restorative yoga session. Bring blankets and pillows and wrap up warm so you can be completely comfy as we focus on deep relaxation and rejuvenation through relaxing yoga postures and breathwork.

7PM LIGHT SUPPER AND WELCOME MEETING

Settle-down to a light supper and get to know your fellow Yogis. This is a relaxing atmosphere where we sit and chat and get to know one another in-front of the campfire. Here I will tell you what we will be doing over these next few days and also what we hope to achieve.

Day 2

8AM YOGA FOR ALL

Get your morning off at a start with a strong energizing yoga flow. This is suitable for everyone and there are modification that can be adapted to your specific level or needs.

9.15AM BREAKFAST

Breakfast is served. Enjoy your plant based, fibre-fuelled breakfast in our beautiful open area. Enjoy the plant diverse foods which are good for a healthy gut and start your day energised.

11AM MUSCLE IMBALANCE WORKSHOP

Get involved in our fun and friendly workshop. These are interactive, combining theory and practice. Learn about muscle imbalance and get a better understanding of your body. You will help each other with perfecting postures such as getting into and advancing your downward dog.

1PM LUNCH

Enjoy our nutritional plant-based lunch. All of our menus have been designed to give you a nice steady energy release throughout the day through a variety of fibre-fuelled foods.

2PM WILD SWIM AND FREE TIME

Wild Swimming or cold water therapy is undeniably exhilarating. An unforgettable retreat experience led by our wild swim coach experts. Whether you’re brand new or a regular, this Saturday afternoon refreshing dip into Welsh waters, it‘s the perfect way to submerge yourself into the wild. Combined with the morning’s yoga sessions and workshop, you’ll feel both energized and invigorated. Please remember all our activities are optional and if you are happy to just sit and watch it‘s still a wonderful experience.

7PM EVENING DINNER

Dinner is cooked this evening over the open fire. We all sit down to a delicious candle lit plant based feast where we can relect on our day‘s activites and take in the gorgeous surrounding, connecting us once again with nature.

Day 3

8.30AM YOGA FOR ALL

Again, we’re off to a great start with a strong energising flow to get the body ready for the day.

9.45AM BREAKFAST

Get super fuelled up with our nutritional, balanced, plant-based breakfast.

11AM YOGA WORKSHOP

In this fun and friendly workshop we will look at something a little more challenging, like going upside down in a variety of ways. It’s enjoyable and suitable for everybody with various options so everyone can experience and ‘feel’ something a little more challenging. Here, we build a greater awareness of our own bodies and our own body’s needs. These clever techniques can be taken away with you and applied into your everyday daily habits.

1.15PM LUNCH

Sit down for a leisurely lunch and soak up the last few minutes of your stay. Feeling renewed and recharged from a relaxing, yet energising weekend of outdoor activities; brilliant plant-based food and a deep sense of satisfaction and achievement.

2:30PM EXPLORE THE AREA AND GOOD-BYES

Time to say goodbye. Why not take this opportunity to explore some of nature‘s offerings in the surrounding area. Bala Lake is just a 20 minute drive away with a nice little town with cute shops and cafes and a big lake to explore which provides the perfect ending to your North Wales weekend retreat.

Emma Garland is founder of The Good Food Yogi and North Wales Yoga Retreats; a hugely successful Yoga and Wellness Brand, transforming the wellness of hundreds of members across the world for almost 10 years.

As part of the wellbeing experience, Emma shares insightful knowledge of her plant-based/vegan experience, through fun, hands-on cookery workshops, as well as cresting the complete plant-diverse experience at her popular, sell-out weekend retreats.
